About us
Drum Therapy is an inclusive experience of community rhythm making which produces a feeling of well-being and relaxation.
Born out of 22 years' experience drumming, world travel, a passion for life and a desire to communicate with people, Drum Therapy was formed in 2003 by Paul Hans Bennett. Since then it has developed to serve a wide variety of groups across the education, health and social care, corporate and community sectors. Its infectious beat has enthused old- up to 99- and young -2 years- alike.

Recently there have been workshops at numerous primary schools across the North and Midlands. The 'Wild Women, Wild Nature' launch night at Park Willow Ltd. was a highlight: tribal drums played to the scent of aromatic oils, flaming braziers lighting up the night sky. Commitment to community has seen Drum To De-stress, the regular Hillsborough drum circle practice in idyllic scenery and perform at local events.
Drum Therapy is directed by Paul: beat box, businessman and bongo bearer. We use freelance musicians and facilitators for larger groups and can currently cater for up to 150 people. "Experience the power of drumming together."
